This policy explains how Keel Labs LLC handles information for Newzyx and SharePlate. It covers the Newzyx website, podcast, and RSS feed, as well as the SharePlate iOS app and its website. Both are products by Keel Labs LLC.

Newzyx

Newzyx is a daily news podcast and website for kids and teens. You can listen on this site, subscribe with the RSS feed, or listen in a podcast app. You do not need an account.

Information we do not ask for

The Newzyx website does not ask you to sign up, and it does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or a child's personal information. Please do not send us personal information about a child.

SharePlate listings and reservations

SharePlate lets people share extra food and find nearby pantries, meal programs, and shared meals. No account is required. When you post food, the information you provide includes a photo, food type, package count, and pickup or drop-off details. Listing information is used to show available food and arrange reservations and handoffs.

The exact address stays private until someone reserves the listing. After a reservation, both participants receive a booking code for the handoff. Share your code only with the other participant or with support when needed. Avoid including a home address or other private details in a public photo or listing description.

SharePlate location and directions

Nearby food searches and directions involve location information. You can manage any location, camera, or photo permissions requested by SharePlate in your iPhone settings. If you open a separate maps app for directions, that provider handles information under its own privacy policy.

Support and privacy requests

If you contact Keel Labs LLC for SharePlate help, your message may include your email address, device details, listing information, or a booking code. That information is used to respond to your request. See SharePlate Support for the contact method. You can also use that contact method to ask about your information or request removal of information you submitted. Do not send passwords or unnecessary private information.

Information stored on your device

If you switch between light and dark mode, the site saves that choice in your browser so it can remember it on your next visit. That website setting stays on your device. It is not sent to Keel Labs LLC as an account profile.

Hosting

Pages, artwork, and episode audio are stored and delivered by Amazon Web Services. The host may keep ordinary technical logs, such as an IP address, the browser type, and the page or file requested, so the service can run and stay reliable. Keel Labs LLC uses those logs to operate the site, not to build a profile of listeners.

Podcast apps

If you listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Sound Carrot, or another app, that app has its own privacy policy. Keel Labs LLC does not control what those apps collect.

Links to other sites

Episodes and articles link to news outlets and other websites. Those sites have their own policies. This policy covers Keel Labs LLC products described above, rather than the independent services you visit through them.

Children

Newzyx is made for a young audience, with a parent or guardian deciding whether it is a fit. The site is built so it can be used without giving us personal information.

Sharing

Keel Labs LLC does not sell personal information. We do not share listener information with advertisers.

Changes

Keel Labs LLC may update this policy. The date at the top of this page will change when that happens.
