Terms and Conditions

Last updated October 16, 2026

These terms cover Newzyx and SharePlate, products operated by Keel Labs LLC. They apply to the Newzyx website, podcast, and RSS feed, and to the SharePlate iOS app and website. By using these services, you agree to these terms.

Newzyx

Newzyx is a daily news podcast and website for kids and teens, roughly ages 10 to 16. Episodes summarize news from other publishers in short, spoken stories. Keel Labs LLC operates the show and this site.

SharePlate

SharePlate helps people post extra food for neighbors and find nearby pantries, meal programs, and shared meals. You can filter by what is open, get directions, and reserve a listing. No account is required.

Listings and handoffs

Provide accurate photos, food types, package counts, and pickup or drop-off details. Only post food you have permission to share. The exact address stays private until someone reserves; both participants then receive a booking code for the handoff. Use addresses and booking codes only to arrange the reservation, and do not publish another person's private information.

A reservation coordinates a handoff; it does not guarantee that food will be available or that a listing is accurate. Confirm arrangements with the other participant. Pantry hours, meal-program information, and directions may change, so check with the provider before traveling.

Food safety

People sharing food are responsible for handling, storing, and describing it safely and following applicable food-sharing rules. Do not offer spoiled or recalled food. Clearly communicate ingredients and known allergens, and ask questions before accepting food if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Keel Labs LLC does not inspect individual food items or certify their safety. See the FDA's food donation guidance for general safety information.

SharePlate content and conduct

Only upload photos and descriptions you have permission to share. You retain rights in your submissions and permit Keel Labs LLC to display and process them to operate SharePlate. Do not post misleading or unlawful listings, harass other participants, misuse reservations, or interfere with the service.

Privacy and support

Read the Privacy Policy for information about Newzyx and SharePlate data handling. For questions about SharePlate or these terms, use SharePlate Support.

Not professional advice

Stories are for general information and learning. They are not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. News can change after an episode is published.

Kids and families

The show is made for a young audience. A parent or guardian should decide whether it is right for their child. Do not send us personal information about a child.

Intellectual property

The Newzyx name, logo, episode audio, scripts, and site design are owned by Keel Labs LLC or used with permission. You may listen to episodes for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, or republish the audio, scripts, or site without written permission.

News stories often describe reporting from other outlets. Those outlets keep their own copyrights. Links go to their pages.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site or feed. That includes trying to break the service, scraping it in a way that overloads it, or using Newzyx content to mislead people about its source.

Disclaimer

Newzyx and SharePlate are provided as is. Keel Labs LLC does not promise that content, listings, or services will always be complete, accurate, error-free, or available without interruption.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Keel Labs LLC is not liable for damages that come from using or being unable to use Newzyx or SharePlate, including reliance on an episode or a food listing. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

Changes

Keel Labs LLC may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change when that happens. Continuing to use the services after an update means you accept the new terms.
